Dizzy but Effectivee

This portfolio was really interactive and had a very active layout! Made me a little bit dizzy but I thought the navigation was really innovative and interesting. Took a little bit of figuring out but it keeps you interested in what you're going to find.

This one is the artist Alex Pardee who is one of my absolute favorite modern graphic artists. His style is so unique but a little darker than Tim Burton yet still cute and huggable.

Marc Anton - online portfolio

This designer's online portfolio is really cool. The clean homepage is easy to navigate and the bold color is eye catching. Depending on which side you navigate to, you can view his different mediums. When it brings you to a collage of work spread throughout the page it can seem a bit overwhelming, but it is also laid out neatly and easy to click. When you click on a piece it comes up in a larger formate to allow you to view the entire piece. Another great element of this portfolio is it shuffles his work each time you click the mouse so you are always seeing something new. This would work well with anyone that has large amounts of pieces.

Another Portfolio

I think this portfolio is nicely laid out. I enjoy that his work is displayed really large so you can really take in his work. I also like how he creatively laid out his journal entries from the words in the opening paragraph.

I read a few of the articles on the Communication Arts website and the Perspectives submenu
has informative articles talking to people in the design industry, ranging from recent graduates to the professionals.

Igor Zagnienski

This portfolio is of a web designer with a some painting. I liked his site because the navigation was easy & consistent. I also enjoy it's clean white background and images that he used for to his projects. Some he uses an image of the site on a computer screen while others he uses a professional image of their logo.

Online Portfolio

I thought this guys online portfolio was awesome. The layout and format is cool considering how much work he has to show. I enjoy the notebook theme of his whole page and the separation of all his work into categories adjacent interactive boxes like that. It's also cool that you can contact him right off his page!
