Portfolio References

THIS IS NOT MY OWN! I found it on Tumblr but it's so informational. Check out some of the links!

A collection of portfolio references I’ve been collecting for a while now. Mostly from recently graduated design students.  http://www.elieahovi.com/ - One of my favorite references right now, this dudes our age and working as an intern at MNML design in Chicago. The trash collector is a badass projecthttp://renelee.net/ - Very simple, you can tell why the guy works at apple. I love how he starts each project with a question. My favorites are the Pico projector and also the Arc printer. http://dawod.se/ - His website takes a while to download but I definitely recommend downloading his 15mb portfolio and breathing it in. All sick projects.  http://www.bossmark.se/  - Her presentation and layouts are really beautiful. A good reference. http://erikkreider.net/ - This guy interns at fuseproject, and has great sketch development. Definitely worth a look. http://www.mirkoihrig.com/  -  Also interning at fuseproject. Really simple stuff, not much process but still inspirational. And you can’t go wrong with the cargo collective theme he’s using. http://www.szpryngwald.com/ - Similar style and stuff to Mirko.  http://cargocollective.com/ollihirvonen - Some nice stuff. http://linakuroi.com/ - Clean and beautiful work.
http://evangelos.co/work - Stunning and simple website, I really l like his photography. http://www.kataokadesign.com/web/site.cgi? - More accomplished designer but great render reference. http://junjikawabe.com/ - Recent NC State graduate he works in Shanghai at Lenovo. His portfolio is one of the most unique and interesting I’ve ever seen.http://www.sejoonkim.com/index.html - Super simple, beautiful designs. I like the explanations and stories he tells. http://www.behance.net/gallery/About-me/1015709 - I really like the three slides he shows on here. The photograph with all his possessions and the quote “who am I” is really good. I want to steal that idea. http://www.gabrieltootoo.com/ - Shoe designer, NC State alumni, very unique interactive portfolio website. http://www.julienbergignat.com/ - Awesome stuff, very conceptual and cool stories.
